To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
