The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
