Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8
