۞ And Allah has said: Take not two gods, He is only one Allah; so of Me alone should you be afraid. 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 Whatever favor you have is from Allah. Whenever you are afflicted you groan to Him. 53 Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord 54 So (as a result of that) they deny (with ungratefulness) that (Allah's Favours) which We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy yourselves (your short stay), but you will come to know (with regrets). 55 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. 56 And they assign daughters to Allah – Purity is to Him! – and assign for themselves what they wish. 57 Yet when news of the birth of a daughter reaches one of them, his face is darkened, and he is overwhelmed with silent grief, 58 as he hides him from the people because of the evil of the good tidings that have been given unto him, whether he shall preserve it in humiliation, or trample it; into the dust. Ah, evil is that they judge! 59 To those who believe not in the Hereafter, applies the similitude of evil: to Allah applies the highest similitude: for He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. 60
