We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
