The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
