Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble, recording, 11 who know all that you do: 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
