The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
