The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
