Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Illustrious scribes 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
