The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
