The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
