Nay, and by the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
