The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 by those that swim serenely 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 Then those who regulate the affair. 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 On that Day some hearts shall tremble (with fright), 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They will say: 'Then we are returned lost' 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 When lo! they shall be wakeful. 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 His Lord called to him in the Sacred Valley of Towa, 16 saying, "Go to the Pharaoh. He has transgressed beyond all bounds. 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 Then he went back hastily. 22 then he mustered 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 you pay attention 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26
