And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
