The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
