WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
