And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
