۞ Say, [God says] "O My servants, who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of God's mercy, for God surely forgives all sins. He is truly the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 53 Turn to your Lord and submit to Him before His scourge overtakes you, for then you shall not be helped. 54 Follow the best of what has been revealed to you from your Lord before the chastisement suddenly comes upon you without you even being aware of it.” 55 Lest a soul should say: "Alas, I was heedless of God and only laughed;" 56 Or it should say: Had Allah guided me, I would certainly have been of those who guard (against evil); 57 "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' 58 No indeed! My revelations did come to you, but you rejected them: you showed arrogance, and were among those who deny the truth." 59 On the Day of Resurrection you will see those who uttered falsehoods about God with their faces blackened. Is there not enough room in Hell for the arrogant? 60 But, Allah will save those who fear Him with their winnings (Paradise). No evil shall touch them, nor shall they ever grieve. 61 God is the Creator of all things, He has charge of everything; 62 unto Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the signs of God, those they are the losers. 63
