Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
