The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
