Have you not seen those who were in possession of a portion of the Book? They believe in idols and devils. They say of those who deny the truth, "They are more rightly guided than the believers." 51 Those are the ones God has rejected: you will not find anyone to help those God has rejected. 52 Have they any share in the dominion (of Allah)? Had that been so, they would never have granted people even as much as the speck on a date-stone. 53 Or do they envy mankind for what Allah hath given them of his bounty? but We had already given the people of Abraham the Book and Wisdom, and conferred upon them a great kingdom. 54 Then some of them believed in it, and some turned away from it; yet sufficient is Hell, the flaming Fire! 55 And those who disbelieve Our revelations shall be cast into Hell; and when their skin is burnt up and singed, We shall give them a new coat that they may go on tasting the agony of punishment, for God is all-mighty and all-wise. 56 And those who believe and do good deeds, We shall cause them to enter the Gardens beneath which rivers flow. There they shall abide for ever. There they shall have spouses purified and there We shall cause them to enter a shelter with plenteous shade. 57 ۞ Verily Allah commandeth you that ye shall render dues unto the owners thereof, and that, when ye judge between men, judge with justice. Verily excellent is that wherewith Allah exhorteth you; verily Allah is ever Hearing, Beholding. 58 Believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those from among you who are invested with authority; and then if you were to dispute among yourselves about anything refer it to Allah and the Messenger if you indeed believe in Allah and the Last Day; that is better and more commendable in the end. 59
