Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
