The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
