۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
