No! By the moon 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning for people -- 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
