O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). 52 But people later cut up their religion into bits, each group rejoicing in what they have. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that in giving them wealth and children 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 who believe in the verses of their Lord; 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan. 64 "Put a stop to your groaning now! Surely no help shall be provided to you from Us. 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or do they say that he is possessed? In fact, he has brought the truth to them, but most of them abhor the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ And if We have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair. 77
