The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Quran from Allah to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]. 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
