Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way, God will send their works astray. 1 As for those who attained to faith and did righteous works and believed in what was revealed to Muhammad -- which indeed is the Truth from their Lord -- Allah has remitted their evil deeds and has set their condition right. 2 That is because those who refuse to believe only follow what is false; but those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. That is how God gives men precepts of wisdom. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will guide them and improve their state, 5 And cause them to enter the garden which He has made known to them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), for them is destruction, and (Allah) will make their deeds vain. 8 That was because they were averse to what Allah had revealed; so He let their works go to waste. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled then on the earth so that they might see how hath been the end of those before them! Allah annihilated them. And for the infidels theirs shall be the like fate therefore. 10 That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector. 11
