BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
