Al-Isra 8 of 12
On the day when We shall call all men with their record, and whoso is given his book in his right hand -- those shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread. 71 Those who are blind in this life will also be blind in the life to come and in terrible error. 72 They indeed sought to entice you away from what We revealed to you, hoping that you might invent something else in Our name; and then they would have accepted you as a close friend. 73 Had We not strengthened your faith you might have relied on them some how. 74 In that case, We should have inflicted a double punishment in this life, and a double punishment after death. Then you would have found no one to help you against Us. 75 And verily they had well-nigh unsettled thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence. And in that case they would not have tarried after thee but a little while. 76 Such was Our way with the messengers We sent before you, and you will find no change in Our ways. 77
