The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 And who shun vain conversation, 3 Who strive for betterment; 4 And who guard their private organs. 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 whereas such as seek to go beyond that [limit] are truly transgressors; 7 And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant, 8 And those who of their prayers are observant. 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit paradise. There they will abide. 11 And assuredly We created man of an extract of clay. 12 then We made him into a drop of life-germ, then We placed it in a safe depository, 13 We then turned the drop of fluid into a clot of blood, then the clot into a small lump of flesh, then the lump into bones, then covered the bones with flesh; then developed it in a different mould; therefore Most Auspicious is Allah, the Best Creator. 14 Then after that you shall surely die, 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven heavens above you and have never been neglectful to Our Creation. 17 And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away. 18 And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. 19 Also, a tree which grows on the Tor of Sinai and gives oil and relish for its eaters. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 And on them, and on ships you are carried. 22
