Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 What though they would say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Glory be to thy Lord, the Lord of Glory, above that they describe! 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
