The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 By the Day as it appears in glory; 2 and by Him Who created the male and the female: 3 O men, you truly strive towards the most diverse ends! 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And believeth in goodness; 6 We will facilitate for him the easy end. 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and rejects what is right, 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 nor will his wealth profit him when he falls [into the pit]. 11 Surely Ours is it to show the way, 12 And verify Ours is both the Hereafter and the life present. 13 Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire 14 None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one. 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 But the righteous one will avoid it - 17 Who giveth away his substance that he may be cleansed, 18 not as payment for favours received, 19 but only out of a longing for the countenance of his Sustainer, the All-Highest: 20 And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction. 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
