It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
