۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
