We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
