The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him). 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 He created the cattle. They are a source of clothing and food and also a variety of other benefits for you. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules and donkeys for riding and for splendour. He created other things too which you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the way, and thereof is some crooked; and had He willed He would have guided you all. 9
