Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Generous and recording, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
