The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 As they sat around it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
