Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
