We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
