۞ Say: O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful. 53 “And incline towards your Lord and submit to Him, before the punishment comes you and then you may not be helped.” 54 And follow the best that has been revealed to you from your Lord before there comes to you the punishment all of a sudden while you do not even perceive; 55 Lest a soul should say: O woe to me! for what I fell short of my duty to Allah, and most surely I was of those who laughed to scorn; 56 "Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!'- 57 "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' 58 It will be said to him, “Surely yes, why not?* My signs did come to you, so you denied them and you were haughty and you were a disbeliever.” (They will be mocked at.) 59 And upon the Day of Resurrection thou shalt see those who lied against God, their faces blackened; is there not in Gehenna a lodging for those that are proud? 60 God would rescue those who fear Him (and guide them) to places of safety. Neither will evil touch them nor regret. 61 Allah is Creator of all things; and He only is the Controller of all things. 62 His are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; and (as for) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah, these it is that are the losers. 63
