Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 And (how) We have spread the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and have grown all kinds of beautiful pairs in it? 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
