We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
