Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
