▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 green, green pastures -- 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Fair ones, confined in tents. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
