WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal, 43 With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised! 44
