The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Striking! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 Raging Fire. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
