The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
